Please join us for our next event with Mitchell Bradford, an EAP lecturer and teacher trainer at the University of Waikato Joint Institute at Hangzhou City University, as he shares his insights on AI use in a TNE setting. This workshop will address issues identified in his own study, as well as explore suggestions and activities to help understand how to use it appropriately and effectively.

November 2023 Event
Please join us for our upcoming event, Negotiating Internationalisation: Chinese Students and Agency. Bowen Zhang (University of Manchester) will share insights from her PhD research into Chinese students’ agency in TransNational Higher Education (TNHE). She highlights disparities between the “prescribed” and the “lived” internationalisation of students and the gap she has identified in understanding how they exercise agency, arguing that TNHE should not perpetuate Westernisation and marketisation solely to attract students.
